Out of all the McCann offices around the world we are probably the office with the highest percentage of employees walking around wearing McCann t-shirts at work. The guy from IT wears the same t-shirt as the girl from film production. Even if the t-shirts were the result of a cheesy company team building trip, it turned out people actually felt at home wearing this uniform. Perhaps it made us look like the family we feel like.
On this site we will show you the kind of work that comes out of working as a family, rather than a group of competing departments. In Norway, McCann is unique in the sense that we have gathered all advertising disciplines under one roof. Our experts within traditional and digital media work tightly together with experts within retail, direct marketing and planning. The result is integrated marketing campaigns, where the entire range of creative expressions is based on the same strategic foundation.
Today we are more than ninety individuals working at McCann. We are all dedicated to follow the ninety year-old McCann mantra “Truth Well Told”. Our founder Harrison King thought it would be good if advertisers stuck to the truth. And if we managed to talk about the truth in a way that made truth sound interesting, that would be even better. Ninety years on, that old mantra still seems to work. And in these enlightened times - who would get away with lying, anyway?
